Discover The CollectionEvery Kore Kitchen piece is more than a tool. It is a testament to a process where heritage techniques meet cutting-edge technology. We don't just manufacture kitchenware; we craft lifelong partners for your culinary journey, forged from materials of uncompromising quality.
Our philosophy is one of reduction. We strip away the non-essential to reveal the pure function of an object. Each curve is studied for ergonomic comfort, every angle is calculated for efficiency, and every gram is balanced to feel like an extension of your hand. We design for intuition, not for ornament.
We select high-purity carbon steel for its superior heat responsiveness and durability. Unlike stainless steel, it forms a natural, non-stick patina with use, improving over time. It is a living material, telling the story of every meal you create.
The handles are crafted from dense, slow-growth maple, sustainably sourced from Canadian forests. Its tight grain provides immense strength and resistance to moisture, while our hand-sanded finish offers a warm, secure grip that metal cannot replicate.
Our process transforms raw metal into a tool of precision. This journey involves four critical stages, each perfecting the material's molecular structure for unparalleled strength and performance.
Billets of steel are heated to over 1200°C until they are malleable. They are then press-forged into their initial shape, a process that aligns the steel's grain structure, creating a dense, incredibly strong foundation that resists warping for a lifetime.
The shaped steel is rapidly cooled in a specialized oil bath. This quenching process locks the molecular structure into a hardened state known as martensite, giving the material its exceptional hardness and edge retention capabilities.
While quenching adds hardness, it also makes the steel brittle. Tempering involves reheating the steel to a precise, lower temperature. This crucial step removes the brittleness while retaining the hardness, resulting in a tough, resilient tool.
After forging, each piece is finished using state-of-the-art 5-axis CNC milling. This technology allows us to achieve tolerances of less than 50 microns—thinner than a human hair. The result is a perfectly flat cooking surface, seamless handle integration, and flawless balance.
Technology provides the precision, but the soul of the product comes from the hands of our master craftspeople. Every surface is hand-polished, every wooden handle is hand-finished, and every edge is personally inspected to meet our exacting standards. This human element is what makes each piece unique.
Our products undergo rigorous testing to simulate decades of intensive use. The numbers speak for themselves, showcasing a tool engineered not just to last, but to excel.
Each tool is designed not in isolation, but as part of a complete culinary system. The shared design language, material palette, and ergonomic principles ensure that as you build your collection, your tools work together in perfect harmony, creating an environment of calm and efficiency.
"The goal isn't to add more features. It's to remove everything until only the essential, perfect form remains. That is true design."— Elara Chen, Head of Design
"You can feel the quality in the weight, in the balance. The steel has a memory. Our job is to give it a good one."— Kenji Tanaka, Master Craftsman
Our commitment to quality extends to our packaging. We use 100% recycled, plastic-free materials, from the custom-molded pulp inserts to the soy-ink printing. It's designed to protect your investment on its journey to you, and then return to the earth without a trace.
